Fresh N Fit CuisineFor many, Fall is a wonderful time of year. Leaves begin to change colors and temperatures start to cool down. We had a hot and humid summer here in Atlanta, so waking up to cooler breezes in the morning and lower temperatures during the day make for much more pleasant evenings. Fall is perfect for being outside. You can go for a run without fear of passing out from the heat and it’s not that cold yet so don’t have to completely bundle up.

Fall conjures up images of going for a walk on a path covered with falling leaves or wrapping yourself in a warm blanket while reading your favorite book. Of course, there’s the start of college football and the NFL, as well as the holidays associated with Fall that people love. Kids look forward to Halloween so they can dress up like their favorite character and get their fill of candy. Adults look forward to Thanksgiving to be around loved ones and enjoy sitting around a table eating.

Which brings me to the real reason most people look forward to Fall: the food. At Fresh ‘N Fit, we love this time of year for that very reason. Our chefs get to prepare some of their favorite hearty stews and soups while using seasonal produce, like apples and pumpkins.
